  • 12 chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • oil or frying

Preparation

Step 1

Cut of wing tips. Reserve for stock.

cut wings in half.Remove small bone from mid wing section.

With sharp knife scrape meat from small end of bone to large end. Push meat over end of bone, inside out, forming lollipop.

Combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Beat egg slightly with milk. Stir into flour mixture, mix well.

Dip chicken into batter.

Deep fry, a few piecs of a time for about 5 min.
