Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 2/3 cups nonfat milk
- 2 egg whites
- 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup maple syrup

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 200.
2. Combine flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. Combine milk, egg whites, brown sugar, and oil. Add to flour mixture, stir just until blended. Fold in 1 cup blueberries.
4. Scoop into sprayed waffle iron.
5. Combine 1 cup blueberries, strawberries, and syrup in saucepan. Cook until berries are softened. Serve with waffles.
