BANANA SPICE CAKE

Ingredients

• 2 3/4 c sifted flour
• 2 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
• 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
• 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
• 2/3 c shortening
• 1 1/3 c sugar
• 2 eggs beaten
• 4-5 bananas
• 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

. Cream the shortening and the sugar together , add the eggs and vanilla and beat until combined

. Sift together the flour and the dry ingredients and add to wet ingredients a little at a time until thoroughly mixed together

. Divide batter evenly among two 8" round greased cake pans and bake at 350 degrees until done
