- 2 Cups Brown Rice (1 Cup)
- 2 1/4 Cups Water (1 Cup + 1/4 Cup)
- Water for pressure cooker

- Number of cups rice etc. 1 part Rice + 1 Part water plus 1/4 cup
- 2 1/2 Cups rice
- (maximum capacity of 1 1/2 Qt Ohsawa pot)
- 2 3/4 Cups water

Step 1
1. Add approximately 4 cups water to pressure cooker, water level needs to be 1 inch up the side of Ohsawa pot, place ingredients in Ohsawa pot and gently place into pressure cooker, cover the Ohsawa pot and lock on lid of pressure cooker.
2. Turn burner onto high and bring to pressure, reduce heat to maintain pressure for 45-50 minutes.
3. Turn off heat and let pressure drop naturally, remove Ohsawa pot and Rice is ready to serve.
