Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp. gelatin
- 1 tbsp. cold water
- 1/2 cup hot milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup whipping cream

Preparation
Step 1
Soften gelatin in cold water. Add hot milk, sugar and salt and stir until dissolved.
Cool and add vanilla, then turn into a freezer tray and partially freeze.
Turn into chilled bowl and beat until frothy with a rotary beater.
Whip cream until stiff and fold into the frothy mousse.
Return to freezer and freeze without stirring until firm.
