Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger browned and drained
  • 4 peeled and diced potatoes
  • 1 large can of tomato juice
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 stalks celery chopped
  • 1 can of petite diced tomatoes
  • salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cook dice potatoes, celery, onion, and petite tomatoes on medium heat in a large pot with tomato juice. When vegetables begin to get tender add hamburger meat. Turn heat to low and continue to cook until ready to serve. (Add more juice if needed)

Once you have your base soup you may serve as is, or add some variations to it.

Variations:
Spaghetti broken into small pieces
Chopped cabbage
Mixed Vegetables
