Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 8 ozs sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables or 1 can (15 ozs) mixed vegetables, drained
  • 6 ozs diced cooked turkey
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cans (14.5 ozs each) chicken broth or turkey broth
  • 1 1/2 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 3 cusp Minute White Rice
  • 1 can (8 count) large flaky biscuits

Preparation

Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 375

COOK onions and mushrooms in hot oil 5 minutes in a large saucepan.

MIX in all remaining ingredients except rice and biscuits; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.

STIR in rice. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place biscuits on top of filling.

BAKE for 12 - 14 minutes, or until biscuits are gold brown.
