Eggnog Cookies

Ingredients

• 4 c flour
• 1 t baking powder
• 1/2 t baking soda
• 1/2 t nutmeg
• 3/4 c butter
• 1 1/2 c sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 c eggnog

Preparation

Step 1

Beat butter until fluffy. Add sugar and beat. Add egg and beat.

Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and nutmeg, alternating with eggnog.

Chill overnight.

Roll into rounded tablespoons (or medium scooper) two inches apart.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for 12-13 minutes. They will be slightly browned.

Cool and sprinkle with powder sugar/nutmeg mixture (1/2 c powder sugar and 2 t nutmeg). Adjust if you like less or more nutmeg.
