Ingredients
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1/2 c butter, softened
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 4 c confectioner's sugar (about 1 pound)
- 2 T milk

Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and shortening. Add vanilla. Gradually add confectioner's sugar, 1 cup at a time. Icing will appear dry. Add milk and beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
