Ingredients
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. salad oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 c. canned pumpkin
- 3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. ground cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg

Step 1
Grease 3-7 1/2x3 1/2x2 1/4-inch loaf pans. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat sugar with salad oil until blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition, until light and fluffy. Add pumpkin and mix again. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. At low speed of mixer beat this into pumpkin mixture. Pour into 3 greased loaf pans. Bake for 60 minutes at 325 degrees or until toothpick pressed into center comes out clean.
