Serendipity Frozen Hot Chocolate

By

Plus, made with skim milk, it won’t totally bust your calorie count for the day (if you are keeping track). This one recipe can easily be divided into two servings and feel like plenty. That’s just a 1/2 cup of Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips, 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder, a tablespoon and half of sugar and one and a half cups of milk divided by two. It’s the ice that really gives this frozen dream its volume. I topped ours with a little marshmallow cream, a drizzle of chocolate sauce and maraschino cherries. It won’t exactly warm you up, but it might make you remember what frozen things do in summer…

When ready to serve, pour the cooled chocolate, the remaining 1 cup of milk and the 3 cups of ice into a high powered blender and blend until smooth.
