Boil ham bone in chicken stock
Skim meat
4 sliced medium potatoes
Finely cut onion
1 tsp. parsley
2 eggs
½ tsp salt
2/3 cup milk
3 cups flour
Beat eggs, add salt and milk and then flour

BOILED POT PIE

2/3 cup milk
3 cups flour
Beat eggs, add 2/3 cup milk and salt. Then add flour to make dough. Roll dough into thin sheets and cut into 3-inch squares.
3 qts. Beef or chicken broth
4 sliced medium potatoes
1 onion cut fine
1 tsp. chopped parsley
Bring broth, onion, and parsley to a boil in kettle (medium deep). Add alternately a layer of potatoes and follow with a layer of dough squares until all are added. Cover kettle and cook 5 minutes, then stir and cook slowly until done---about 15 more minutes. Will serve 8 people.
