Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 c packed light brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 T cinnamon
  • 1/3 c butter, softened
  • Icing:
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 c powdered sugar
  • 1/4 c (2 oz) cream cheese
  • 1/2 t vanilla extract
  • 1/8 t salt

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare small recipe of roll dough

Roll out dough. spread butter evenly over the surface of the dough and then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly over the surface. Roll dough down to the bottom edge. Cut the rolled dough into 1 1/2" slices and place in greased baking pan. Let the rolls rise until double in size (about 30 minutes). Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Icing:
Beat ingredients together until fluffy.

When rolls come out of the oven, let them cool for about 10 minutes, then coat generously with icing.

**Can be frozen after baking. Just microwave 20-30 seconds to reheat.
