Ingredients

  • 4 whole heads of garlic
  • 1 TBLS olive oil
  • 1/4 C vegetable broth
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Step 1

Remove any excess papery skin from garlic. Keep heads intact. With sharp knife, cut a thin slice from top of each head, just to expose inside of cloves slightly.

Arrange garlic heads, cut side up, in a small baking dish. Drizzle with oil. Pour broth into bottom of dish. Sprinkle lightly with salt and cover. Bake in preheated 375 F (190 C) oven for 1 hour, uncovering the last 10 minutes of baking time.
