Ingredients
- Large Recipe:
- 1/2 c luke warm water
- 2 pkg (2 T) active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c lukewarm milk (made from powdered milk)
- 1/2 c sugar
- 2 t salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c shortening
- 7 to 7 1/2 c flour
- Small Recipe:
- 1/4 c luke warm water
- 1 pkg (1 T) active dry yeast
- 3/4 c lukewarm milk (made from powdered milk)
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 t salt
- 1 eggs
- 1/4 c shortening
- 3 1/2 to 3 3/4 c flour
- **Powder Milk:
- 1 c water + 1/3 c powder milk = 1 1/4 c milk

Step 1
Mix first 7 ingredients together then add flour a little at a time.Turn onto lightly floured board; knead until smooth. Form into a ball and place in greased bowl, rotate greased side up. Cover with cloth. Let rise in warm place until double in size, about 1 1/2 hours. Punch down; let rise again until almost double, about 30 minutes. Shape into balls, let rise and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
Large Recipe: 2 dozen rolls
Small Recipe: 1 dozen rolls
