Cheesey Brocoli Soup
- 4 tablespoon of butter
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup flour
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 4 cups fat free milk
- 16 oz frozen brocoli, chopped
- 2 cups potatoes, diced (fresh or canned)
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspon pepper
Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat, add oinion cook until tender. Add flour and cook until blended. Gradually stir in broth. Heat until slightly thickened. Add milk, brocoli and potatoes. Cook over medium heat until brocoli and potatoes are tender.
Stir in cheese and seasonings.
