Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless steak, cut in 1/8 inch slices
- 1/4 C soy sauce
- 1 20 oz can unsweetened pineapple chunks, drained and 1/4 C juice reserved
- 1 tsp finely grated gingerroot, or 1/4 ground
- 1 T sugar
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 T cornstarch
- 3 T water
- cooked rice

Preparation
Step 1
Place meat in slow cooker. IN a small bowl, combine soy sauce, reserved pineapple juice, ginger, sugar, oil, and garlic. Pour sacue mixture over meat. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours.
Turn control to HIGH. Stir in pineapple, combine cornstarch and water in a small bowl, add to cooker. Cook, stirring, until slightly thickened. Serve over rice.
