Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 C flour
  • 2 T sugar
  • 1/2 C nuts
  • 1/2 C nuts
  • 1/2 C butter
  • dash salt
  • Filling:
  • 3 egg yolks beaten (use whites in topping)
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 3 1/2 C rhubarb
  • 1/2 C cream or evaporated milk
  • 3 T flour
  • Topping:
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 C sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix crust and pat into 8 X 10 inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Combine Filling ingredients in pan, cook til thick. Place on top of crust.
Combine 3 topping ingredients. Place on filling and bake 10 minutes at 425.
