Ingredients

  • 1

    ½ lbs ground beef

  • 1

    med onion diced

  • 1

    28 ounce can of tomatoes

  • 2

    cups of water

  • 3

    cans of consommé

  • 1

    can of tomato soup

  • 4

    carrots chopped finely

  • 1

    bay leaf

  • 3

    sticks of celery

  • parsley

  • ½ tsp thyme

  • 8

    tbsp barely

  • 1

    clove grated garlic

  • 2

    potatoes diced into bite size pieces

  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Brown ground beef and drain. Fry onions and garlic until soften and slightly browned. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for at least one hour. (is better the next day and freezes well)
