  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 unbaked 9" pie shell
  • 1 to 1 1/4 c. pecan halves

Step 1

Combine butter, sugar, and corn syrup; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Let cool slightly. Add eggs, vanilla, and salt.

Pour into pie shell and top with pecans. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-55 minutes.
