Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1 3/4 c flour
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1 Tbs
- lemon peel
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 Tbs Poppyseed
- 1 (8oz) carton lemon yogurt
- 6 Tbs melted and cooled butter
- 1 egg room temp
- 6 Tbs fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 c lemon juice, fresh
- 1/4 c sugar
- 2 tsp grated lemon peel

Step 1
Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.
Combine yogurt, butter, egg and lemon juice. Add to dry ingredients and mix until well moistened. Spoon batter about 3/4 full into lined muffin pan.
Bake 400' for 20 minutes.
Glaze-combine juice, sugar, and peel into a saucepan and cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Poke muffins with a toothpick and drizzle glaze over muffins.
