Letha's French Toast

A Family saturday morning favorite. Serve with a few slices of bacon and fresh fruit and you have a yummy breakfast.

Ingredients
- 5 Eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 C cold 2% Milk
- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 to 3 TBLS Sugar
- 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
- 2 TBLS Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Combine ingredients in a med bowl. Once well blended, pour into a pie plate (this works best for dipping the bread)
Heat a large skillet to med high and melt butter. Dredge the bread in the milk/egg mixture. Cover both sides of bread. Place in hot pan and cook on each side, approx. 5 min. (Cook until the bread looks like toast on each side). Remove from pan and spread a bit of butter along with maple syrup.
