Southern Chess Bars

Ingredients

• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 3 eggs.
• 8 oz. cream cheese
• 1 stick margarine
• 1 lb. powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300. Grease bottom of 9x13" pan. With a hand mixer, mix together cake mix, melted butter, and one egg. It will form a soft dough. Press into the bottom of the pan. In a bowl, mix together sugar, 2 eggs, and cream cheese until smooth. Pour over dough Bake approximately 1 hour or until top is light golden brown. Cool completely before cutting into squares
