Ingredients

  • Marinade:
  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
  • 2 large sweet onions, sliced
  • fresh cilantro, chopped
  • lime wedges
  • 3 T. white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 limes, juiced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together all the marinade ingredients. Whisk until well blended, put in ziploc bag with steak and marinate for 1 to 8 hours.

Cook meat and onions over med high heat on grill pan that has been oiled for about 7 minutes on each side. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Sprinkle with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
