Tuna Burgers w/Wasabi Slaw

Ingredients
- Burgers:
- 1 lb of fresh cut tuna, minced (not pureed)
- 2 tbs dijon mustard
- 1 garlic minced
- 1 tbs shallots, finely chopped
- 1 tbs ginger (paste is okay)
- 1 tsp finely grated lemon zest
- hamburger buns
- Slaw:
- 2 tbs wasabi powder or paste
- 1 1/2 tbs water, if you use powder
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (could try paste)
- 1 garlic minced
- 2 cups cole slaw mix (from bag okay)
- salt and pepper

Step 1
Mix wasabi, water (if using powder) to form a paste. Add mayo, 1 tsp ginger and garlic; stir until well combined. Add wasabi mayo mixture to cole slaw and toss until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Add tuna, mustard, garlic, shallots, 1 tbs ginger and lemon zest; stir to combine. Divide the mixture into 4 equal patties, about 3/4 thick. Cover; refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight is fine.
Heat grill on medium-high for 8 to 10 minutes. Lightly brush grates with evoo. Cook patties on grill and close lid to grill, about 3 -4 minutes per side for medium-rare. About 1 minute before burgers are done, toast buns slightly.
Place burger on bun and top with wasabi slaw; serve immediately.
