Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c sugar
- 1/2 c oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 c cocoa
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 10 x (confectioners) sugar
- 1 c hot water (for dissolving cocoa)

Preparation
Step 1
Cream sugar and oil. Blend in eggs.
In separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl.
Dissolve cocoa in 1 c hot water.
Alternately add dry ingredients and liquid to creamed mixture. Add vanilla.
Pour into a greased & floured loaf pan. If you're doubling the recipe, use a bundt pan.
Bake for 1 hour in a 350 degree oven.
Let cool then sift 10x sugar over cake.
