Straits Sling

By

According to cocktail historian Ted Haigh, the dry, refreshingly bitter Straits Sling originated at the Long Bar of Singapore's Raffles Hotel around 1915. It was reformulated into the sweeter, more tropical Singapore Sling sometime between 1922 and 1930.
