Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)
- + Homemade or storebought caramel to drizzle
- Yield: 15 servings

Preparation
Step 1
Where all of Grandmother's favorite recipes are found, just like Grandmother makes them, with a little love.
Directions
Cream butter & sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs
1 at a time, beating well
after each addition. Sift dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients
to creamed mixture alternately
with the buttermilk, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla and
bananas, mix well.
Pour into lightly greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
