Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground ham
  • 1 lb. ground veal
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 T. paprika
  • 1 T. prepared mustard
  • 1 6 oz. can tomato paste

Step 1

Mix thoroughly all except tomato paste.
Shape into a loaf using a samll amount of water, if necessary, to shape well. Put in greased loaf pan.
Bake in 450 oven for 10 minutes to sear.
Then pour tomato paste over loaf.
Return to oven and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.

Variation: Mix 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1 t. dry mustard and enough vinegar to make a paste. Spread on top of loaf in place of tomato paste.
