- 4 c flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t baking powder
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 t vanilla extract

Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside
With an electric mixer cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs then vanilla. Add flour mixture until all combined. Form into a ball, wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Bake 8-10 minutes
**After cookies are cut, place tray back in the fridge for 15-20 minutes, then bake. The secret is to chill them well before cooking.
