Ingredients

  • 32 oz pkg of frozen bite size tater tots
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 pk taco seasoning mix or 1 oz
  • 3/4 c water
  • 1 c spicy nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c diced onion
  • 1/4 c jalapeno pepper slices

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 and arrange potato tots in a single layer on a baking sheet.

Bake tots until golden brown and heated through 24-26 min.

Heat a large skillet over med high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly; drain and discard grease. Stir water and taco seasoning mix into beef; cook and stir until liquid is thickened about 2-3 min.

Pour cheese sauce into a microwave dish and heat for 30 sec. Stir and continue in 15 sec intervals until hot, stirring between intervals.

Spread tots on a plate, pour meat, cheese sauce, sour cream, onion and jalapeno slices on top.
