SAVORY CRESCENT CHICKEN SQUARES

Ingredients

• 1 3oz pkg cream cheese, softened
• 2 TBL butter (softened)
• 2 C cooked chicken1/4 tsp salt
• 1/8 tsp pepper
• 2 TBL milk
• 1 TBL chopped chives or onion
• 1 (8oz) can refrig. crescent or italian crescent rolls
• 2 TBL melted butterr
• 3/4 C seasoned croutons - crushed

Preparation

Step 1

in med. bowl blend cream cheese & 2TBL butter until smooth

add chicken, salt, pepper, milk, onions,
mix well

separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles

press 1/2C chicken mix. onto center of each rectangle
pull 4 corners of dough to top center of chicken mix
twist slightly & seal edges
brush tops w/ melted butter & dip
in crouton crumbs
bake on ungreased cookie sheet
