Mexican Taco Pie

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 (10-inch) flour tortillas
- 1 (16-ounce) can refried beans (I use fat-free)
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Sour cream (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Brown the ground beef with the onion in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring until the ground beef is crumbly; drain. Stir in the seasoning mix and water. Cook using seasoning mix directions until the liquid is absorbed, stirring frequently. Layer 1 tortilla, refried beans, salso, 1 tortilla, beef mixture, 1/2 cup of the cheese and remaining tortilla on a greased 12-inch pizza pan. (Or use parchment paper) Bake, covered, for 15 minutes; remove the cover. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup cheese over the top. Bake for 10 minutes longer or until the cheese melts. Cut into 6 wedges. Serve with salsa and sour cream
