Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 ml) Silk Vanilla soy or almond beverage
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) freshly grated ginger
  • 1/2 shot espresso (or 2 Tbsp (30 ml) strong black coffee)
  • Cinnamon sugar and candied ginger for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

1.Place all ingredients except garnish in a saucepan and heat just until warm.

2.Strain into a mug rimmed with cinnamon sugar.

3.Garnish with candied ginger.

NOTE: For a spirited drink, add 1/2 oz (15 ml) ginger liqueur.
