Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 8 cups water
- 2 1/4 cups fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. grenadine syrup

Step 1
In small saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Let cool; cover. Refrigerate syrup until cold.
Remove any seeds from lemon juice but leave pulp. In pitcher, stir together cold syrup, lemon juice and remaining 7 cups water; stir well. Stir in grenadine. Pour some into ice cube trays; to avoid diluting.
Cover lemonade; refrigerate until cold.
Serve lemonade in tall glasses filled with ice cubes.
