Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 to 3 Tsp. sugar
1 egg unbeaten
food coloring optional

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients into smooth batter. Dip in rosette mold and put in heated shortening. Cook till golden brown. Heat shortening to 365 in electric skillet
