Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 onion, sliced
- 6 large potatoes, sliced 1/4" thick

Preparation
Step 1
Make a white sauce with butter, flour, whipping cream and milk.
Add salt, pepper, cream cheese, and garlic.
Layer potatoes & onions in casserole dish, pouring white sauce after each layer.
Bake at 350F for 35 minutes covered with foil. Remove foil and bake another 30 minutes.
Let stand a few minutes before serving to allow sauce to thicken.
