Ingredients

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 15 x 10 x 1 baking pan. Sift flour, baking powder and salt onto wax paper. Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in flour mixture until well blended.

Spread mixture evenly in prepared pan. Sprinkle chocolate pieces evenly over top; press in slightly. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into squares when cool.
