Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups packed cilantro sprigs
- 2/3 cup packed mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon chopped scallion
- 1 tablespoon chopped seeded fresh jalapeño
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped peeled fresh ginger
- Accompaniment: pappadums, khakhra, or crisp flatbread

Step 1
Blend all ingredients along with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in a blender until smooth.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
