Crab Imperial, McCormick & Schmicks

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup red and green peppers, finely diced
- 1/4 cup onion, finely diced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 1/2 pounds lump crabmeat
- 1 egg, lightly beaten

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Sauté pepper and onion in butter to soften. Set aside and let cool.
Combine 3/4 cup of the mayonnaise, the mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, pepper and Old Bay seasoning with the cooled vegetables. Fold in the crabmeat, being careful not to break up the meat.
Divide mixture into four buttered, individual casserole dishes and bake in 400 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
Increase temperature to broil.
Blend egg with remaining mayonnaise and spoon over each Imperial.
Broil until brown, about 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
