Ingredients

  • 18 oz frozen whole green beans
  • 2 C boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 C sliced small fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 C chopped onion
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 C coarsely chopped cashews
  • 1 T chopped fresh parsley

Preparation

Step 1

Combine beans, boiling water and salt in large saucepan. Bring to a boil on medium-high. Reduce heat. Cover. Simmer for about 8 minutes until beans are tender-crisp. Drain. Set aside.

Saute mushrooms and onino in butter in frying pan on medium-high for about 4 minutes until onion is golden.

Add beans to mixture. Sprinkle salt over top. Stir until heated through. Turn into serving dish.

Sprinkle cashews and parsley over top.
