Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy (whipping) cream
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee powder (optional)
  • 1 (15-count) box baked filo (or phyllo) dough shells
  • 1 (7-oz.) can whipped topping
  • Grated chocolate (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips, whipping cream and coffee powder; blend until smooth. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is cool enough to handle. Spoon sauce into filo (phyllo) dough shells then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 8 hours.
To serve, garnish with whipped topping and sprinkle with grated chocolate as desired.
