Ingredients

  • 1 8 count canned biscuits (no flaky ones)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • ORIGINAL GLAZE
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2-3 tsp. milk
  • CHOCOLATE GLAZE
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbs. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 Tbs. butter, melted
  • 2-3 tsp. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Cut out the centers of each biscuit. ( A bottle cap works). Set aside.

Melt butter in a shallow bowl that is big enough to dip a donut into. Set aside.

In another bowl combine cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.

In a medium frying pan fill with the vegetable oil 1/2 inch or so. Heat the oil to 350*.

Once its ready drop 1-2 doughnuts in at a time. When one side is done flip over. When both sides are golden brown remove and placed on a paper towel.

Cinnamon Sugar - When they are cool dip in melted butter, allow excess to drip off then dip in cinnamon sugar.

For other 2 options in a shallow bowl combine ingredients until smooth. Dip just the tops.
