- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp salt divided
- 3/4 cup butter, divided
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 cups mild cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley

Step 1
Preheat oven to 425. Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper
Heat butter till melted in microwave, set aside.
In a large mixing bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic and 1 tsp salt. Whisk until well combined.
Pour the milk into the melted butter and stir well., pour the milk and butter mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, add shredded cheese and fold until cheese is evenly distributed.
Make round dough drops onto baking sheet .
Bake for 10-12 mins or until biscuits are barely golden brown.
while biscuits are baking, melt remaining 1/4 cup of butter in small mixing bowl add 1 tsp of salt and parsley and stir.
When biscuits are removed from the oven immediately brush with the butter parsley mixture.
Serve hot.
