Quick Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• 1 C sugar
• 1 3/4 C flour
• 2 t baking powder
• 4 T butter
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1/2 C milk
• 1 T sugar mixed with 1 1/2 t cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375*.
Butter ab 8"square cake pan.
Mix sugar, the flour & the baking powder in a large bowl.
Work in the butter with your fingers or a pastry blender.
Add the egg and milk and blend.
Spoon into the pan.
Sprinkle the sugar- cinnamon mixture evenly over the top.
Bake for 20 minutes.
