Peppernuts Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 c honey
• 2 c sugar
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1 tsp salt
• 2/3 butter
• 2/3 c water
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 2 tsp soda
• 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
• 7 c flour

Step 1

Put all of group 1 ingredients into a Kettle over low heat until sugar melts. Let cool until just warm then add group 2.

Keep racks in ove high. Spoon onto a greased cookie sheet and bake 400' for 20 minutes.
