Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons water
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Vanilla ice cream

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put unpeeled bananas in casserole dish and bake for about 15 minutes or until skins turn dark brown and inside of banana is soft.
While bananas are baking, mix together brown sugar and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and add cream. Cook on low for another 5 minutes stirring often.
Remove bananas from oven and split in half lengthwise. Place peel side down on serving plate. Add ice cream to plate and drizzle toffee sauce over ice cream and bananas.
