ALOHA SHORT RIBS

Ingredients
- 1.8 kg short ribs",
- 1/4 tsp salt",
- 1/4 tsp pepper",
- 1 thinly sliced onion",
- 1 can crushed pineapple",
- 1/2 cup beef broth",
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar",
- 1/4 cup brown sugar",
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce",
- 3 tbsp. minced fresh ginger",
- 4 cloves garlic",
- 1 tbsp. corn starch",
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced"

Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper.
Add all ingredients except corn starch and green onions to slow cooker. Insert short ribs. Cook 8 hours on low.
Remove ribs from slow cooker with onions. Stain remainder of juice into a pot. Thicken with cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp. water.
Serve with white rice and sprinkle green onions on top.
