Ingredients
- 6 ounces fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup whole almonds, raw
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced

Preparation
Step 1
Parboil beans in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain water from beans and place beans in serving bowl. Set aside.
Melt butter in skillet over medium heat. Add almonds and stir for about 2 minutes. Remove almonds from heat and toss with green beans. Add lemon zest and juice and toss again to combine all ingredients before serving.
