Gianduja & Dulce de Leche Squares

How can something to instant and quick be so darned good? Easy, when you start with dulce de leche, Nutella, some graham crackers and inventiveness. Another decadent Baker in a Hurry treat. Gianduja is another term for chocolate-hazelnut heaven. Adding dulce or a caramel spin makes this dessert irresistible

Ingredients
- Crust
- 30 graham crackers
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding pie filling, any size
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup dulce de leche, prepared or homemade (recipe in Complete Recipe Index or A Passion for Baking)
- 1/2 jar Nutella
- Additional dulce and Nutella, about 1/4 cup each
- Topping
- 2 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
- 6 to 8 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped and melted

Preparation
Step 1
Spread half of the dulce pudding on top of crackers. Dot with extra dulce.
Arrange remaining crackers on top. Spread the Nutella whipped cream/pudding on top and then dot with extra bits of Nutella.
Top with a final layer of crackers.
For topping, stir confectioner’s sugar with milk to make a spreadable glaze. Spread thinly over crackers. Drizzle on melted chocolate and smear with a knife to create an attractive design. Refrigerate for 12-24 hours before serving.
